Organisers
CTA

At CTA, our goal is to improve rural livelihoods and advance agricultural knowledge and skills in the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Group of States. With the help of our extensive network of partners, we reach out to all those in agriculture and rural development.
Together we produce, distribute and exchange essential knowledge and information. Whether it is books, magazines and multimedia resources, or the opportunity to build capacity, sharing know-how and experiences in workshops and seminars, CTA provides tools for a more sustainable future. www.cta.int
IDRC

To achieve self-reliance, poor communities need answers to questions like: How can we grow more and healthier food? Protect our health? Create jobs? Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC) supports research in developing countries to answer these questions. IDRC also encourages sharing this knowledge with policymakers, other researchers, and communities around the world. The result is innovative, lasting local solutions that aim to bring choice and change to those who need it most.
IIDRC's headquarters are in Ottawa, Canada, with regional offices in Cairo, Dakar, Nairobi, New Delhi, Montevideo, and Singapore. IDRC publications are available free online and are distributed internationally in book form and on DVD. www.idrc.ca
Oxfam GB

Oxfam is an international confederation of 14 like-minded organizations working together and with partners and allies around the world to bring about lasting change. We work directly with communities and we seek to influence the powerful to ensure that poor people can improve their lives and livelihoods and have a say in decisions that affect them.
Oxfam publishes materials for development policy, practice and research, to support its advocacy and campaigning work, to share good practice, and to contribute to debates on development and humanitarian issues. It also co-publishes with other agencies and with commercial partners.
Oxfam Publishing produces books, journals and online policy and research resources to support Oxfam's work. Most of our publications are available to download free as PDF files from the Oxfam Publications website. Books and journals are also available in hard copy through traditional publishing channels. www.oxfam.org.uk/publications
